Global Undergraduate Exchange Programme (UGRAD) 2015 – 2016

The Global Undergraduate Exchange Programme (UGRAD), sponsored by the U.S. Department of State’s Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs, the U.S. Embassy in Ukraine, and World Learning, is supported by the people of the United States of America. Full-time students studying to get a Bachelor degree at the HEIs in Azerbaijan, Belarus, Armenia, Georgia, Kazakhstan, the Kyrgyz Republic, Moldova, the Russian Federation, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Ukraine, and Uzbekistan may get provided with one academic semester of undergraduate, non-degree study in universities, 2-year, or 4-year colleges in the USA. This international educational and cultural exchange programme brings future leaders to the United States to experience the U.S. educational system, enhance their knowledge and skills, and explore U.S. culture and values. It also affords students the opportunity to educate Americans about other cultures and traditions.

Competition for the Global UGRAD Program is open and merit-based.

Candidates willing to apply for participation in the exchange programme have to read carefully all recommendations concerning American Academic education and rules of behavior during the educational process.

Candidates selected as the programme semifinalists will be required to take the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL). This test may become extremely important at the time of admission to the university. Your TOEFL results may improve largely, if you start preparing for the test at the early stage.
